Thank you Marcy! This had so many great reminders. We have fundamentals of each hat we wear as business owners, entrepreneurs and detailers but we can get so busy sometimes we forget to apply knowledge that we already know. I’m going to apply two things that are new for me going forward. 1.Networking with other detailers. I have always been extremely competitive and viewed business like a game I had to win. This also meant competition was there for me to crush. I’m learning that this is not the case. There’s so much to learn from other’s experiences. And as much as I want every last detailing dollar in my community that’s just not realistic. 2. I’m really getting into the Profit First book you talked about. You talk about buying the tool first and then figuring out if you can afford it, haha I think I was the king of that! My business has grown to over 350k in year five and three employees, but I’ve never paid myself as much as I’d really like to. So I’m really shifting my mentality from growing the business to growing the profits.
